Ocean Aero - Automated Target Tracking

Tracking a target from a boat is harder than it sounds. The deck moves in three axes. The target moves. The horizon never sits still.

Ocean Aero's TRITON is an autonomous marine vessel. Its new payload is a SIDUS Solutions high-speed pan and tilt carrying four DeepWater Exploration cameras, two visual and two infrared. It automatically detects and tracks targets of interest.

It doesn't just spot the target. It works out the angle and keeps the mount on it, frame after frame, while the deck rolls underneath.

Ocean Aero got there in a very short timeframe, with NEPI edge AI and automation software under the hood.
